CHEMICAL REACTOR


A Chemical Reactors consist of a cylindrical vertical shell with standard Torrispherical dish on both ends. A Jacket is provided on the Outside of the shell for Heating & Cooling Stiffener Rings are provided on shell in between the shell and jacket to give uniform circulation of the heating or cooling media and to intensify the vessel.

Limpeted Reactor

Limpet coil reactor vessels are used to control the temperature of the reactants with the help of heating or cooling media circulated through coils surrounding the main vessel. Ideally suitable for medium heat transfer requirement and heating application where heating media temperature is above 150 Centigrade (302 Fahrenheit). Coils are half piped welded on the outer side of the main vessel.





Jacketed Reactor


Jacketed reactor vessels are used to control the temperature of the reactants with the help of heating or cooling media circulated through jacket surrounding the main vessel. Ideally suitable for medium heat transfer requirement and heating application where heating media temperature is above 150 Centigrade (302 Fahrenheit). Jacket is welded on the outer side of the main vessel & spiral flat is welded inside the jacket around the shell for circulation of heating/cooling media.

A set of tubes is called the tube bundle and can be made up of several types of tubes: plain, longitudinally finned, etc









Shell and tube heat exchangers are typically used for high-pressure applications.

Floating tube sheet type


A fixed tube sheet heat exchanger is the cheapest because of the ease of fabrication. This heat exchanger requires periodic cleaning, replacement of tubes etc. and inside of the tubes can be easily cleaned by mechanical means (by forcing wire brush or worm )and cleaning of the tubes from outside require removal of the tubes bundles from the heat exchanger, in addition to the above-cited difficulty many heat exchangers are provided with removable tubes bundles.







Fin tube heat exchanger


Finned tube heat exchangers have tubes with extended outer surface area or fins to enhance the heat transfer rate from the additional area of fins. Finned tubes or tubes with extended outer surface area enhance the heat transfer rate by increasing the effective heat transfer area between the tubes and surrounding fluid. The fluid surrounding finned tubes maybe process fluid or air.

ATMOSPHERIC TRAY DRYER (ATD)


The basic working principle of this incredible machine is the continuous circulation of hot air. In the tray dryer, moisture is removed from the product that is placed in the tray by a forced convectional heating. This dryer is also known as Cabinet Dryer, Electric dryer, Air dryer, Tray dryer etc. This dryers are classi¬fied as direct dryers, where hot air (at near atmospheric pressure) is used to supply the heat to evaporate water or other solvents from the product.

VACUUM TRAY DRYER (VTD)


Vacuum drying is a viable technology that has been used successfully for many years in the pharmaceutical industries.


Another advantage of drying materials in this way is a less damaging drying process. Some materials can experience problems at high temperatures, such as developing hard, leathery crusts from heat ex-posure during the drying process. Vacuum drying tends to retain the integrity of the original item without damaging it with heat. It is also possible to recover the precipi¬tated moisture collected during the drying for further use.





FLUID BED DRYER (FBD)


Fluid bed dryer (also called Fluidized bed dryer) is a kind of equipment used extensively in the pharmaceutical industries to reduce the moisture content of pharmaceutical powder and granules.


The equipment works on a principle of fluidization of the feed materials. In fluidization process, hot air is introduced at high pressure through a perforated bed of moist solid particulate. The wet solids are lifted from the bottom and finger bag is suspended in a fluidized shell to trap the material. Heat transfer is accomplished by direct contact between the wet solid and hot gases. The vaporized liquid is carried away by the drying gasses. Sometimes to save energy, the exit gas is partially recycled.

ROTARY CONE VACUUM DRYER (RCVD)


This multipurpose drying unit is extremely useful for uniform & low temperature drying of heat sensitive chemicals, pharmaceutical formulations, fine chemicals etc.


It has double conical vessel with rotating system & vacuum solvent recovery system. As dryer is rotating there is no charring or retention of product. The result is that one can change the material to be dried without much Heating under vacuum. It rotates very low speed (5 to 15 RPM) and thus has very low wear & tear and requires very low maintenance.


This machine is ideal for crystalline products granules used in chemicals, pharmaceutical & food industries.


ROTARY VACUUM PEDDLE DRYER (RVPD)


Rotary vacuum paddle Dryer or Paddle Dryer is used to obtain dry Powder from wet cake or solutions. It is a closed system in which hot water ,steam, or hot fluid is used as a heating medium in the jacket, in the hollow paddle and in the hallow shaft. Dust collector, condenser, receiver and vacuum pump are part of the system.

RIBBON BLENDER


A Ribbon Blender consists of a U-shaped horizontal trough containing a double helical ribbon agitator that rotates within. The agitator’s shaft is positioned in the centre of the trough and has welded spokes on which the helical ribbons (also known as spirals) are welded. Since the Ribbon agitator consists of a set of inner and outer helical ribbons, it is referred to as a “double" helical ribbon agitator. The gap between the ribbon’s outer edge and the internal wall of the container ranges from 3 to 6 mm depending on the application.

DOUBLE CONE BLENDER


Double Cone Blender is an efficient and versatile machine for mixing of dry powders and granules homogeneously. All the contact parts are made of stainless steel. The effective volume for optimum homogeneity is between 35-70% of gross volume. It can be used for pharmaceutical, food, chemical, cosmetic products etc.

OCTAGONAL BLENDER


It is a slow speed blender and has removable type baffles mounted on a rectangular shell. The important feature of the machine is easy to wash in place.


The machine basically consists of shell welded with conical Octagonal shape ends and supported with sturdy supports on both side. The right hand side shaft is connected to a standard gearbox by means of chain and sprockets, which in turn is coupled to an electric motor. The whole drive assembly is covered with guard & VFD panel.

PRESSURE NUTSCHE FILTER (PNF)


A PNF is the most energy efficient machine for separating solids from liquid. Pressure Nustche filter is used for sticky material and can handle a variety of flow rates and solids loading that can be discharged in wet cake form. They can be designed for pressures up to 75psi only.

SIGMA KNEADER MIXER


The Sigma kneader mixer is a horizontal mixing machine with W-type shell & having two Sigma, or Z-type blades. These blades are driven by separate gears at different speeds, one running 1.5 times faster than the other. Our sigma kneader mixer usually has a W-type barrel with a hydraulic tilt that turns it, and a heating jacket outside.


Sigma mixer is used for high viscosity materials. These materials have a viscosity of approximately 1,000,000 cps. They are mixed with reactants such as liquids, powders or slurries; the reaction mass does not undergo a physical phase change while the reaction takes place

SIFTER

MULTIMILL SIFTER


The earlier system used to pass the dried granules through and then pass the oversized granules through the multi mill or to pass the dried granules through the milling machine. Both these processes were dust generation points besides being quite cumbersome.
